2 Minute Football QB Legend Tips & Strategy
These tips build on our beginner guide. The first two come from the developer's own advice; the rest are general football strategy applied to the game's rules.
Let the routes develop
Throwing the instant the ball is snapped often hits a covered receiver. Wait a moment and the open man usually appears.
Throw where the defense isn't
The least-guarded receiver is the safest target. A short, clean catch beats a contested deep ball.
Gain yards after the catch
Steer away from tacklers rather than running straight. Extra yards after the catch make the 20-yard target much easier.
Spend the spin wisely
You only get one spin per play. Hold it until a defender is right in front of you, not the first one you see.
Manage the clock
With only one minute per quarter, time matters. When you are behind late, run out of bounds to stop the clock; when you are ahead, staying in bounds lets time run.
Don't panic on fourth down
If you need only a few yards, take the easy completion that moves the chains instead of forcing a long throw.
